What kind of future do we want?

From birth, we have always seen the sun shining in the sky, it has been there five thousand million years, and it is thought not to have reached even the halfway point of its existence. We have made use of it when we needed it.

Domestic thermosyphonic systems PDF Print E-mail

Circulation systems via thermosyphon are the simplest and most efficient systems, as well as requiring little maintenance. Due to their efficiency, they provide hot water after only a few hours of sunshine. This is the best solution to service the hot water requirements of a family whilst preserving the environment.

The thermosyphon system consists of: Image

  • Solar receiver

  • Water accumulator

  • Connection kit

  • Galvanized or zinc steel with Polyester Epoxy finish

Following the C.T.E., SOLVIVO uses the indirect or closed system. Image

An indirect system uses a large surface area heat exchanger which will facilitate an anti-freeze solution for the primary circuit. This system also helps to avoid the formation of chalky sediment in the receiver. The water is heated in the receiver, it passes through to the heat exchanger and from there returns to the heat exchanger.

The thermosyphon systems are available in the following versions:

  • High profile systems

  • Low profile systems

HIGH PROFILE SYSTEMS Image

In this system, the accumulator is located above the solar receiver/s.

  • A storage accumulator, with a double surround heat exchanger.

  • One or two flat receivers, with a selective absorber

  • Connection piping in stainless steel, quick joining elastics and accessories to facilitate and accelerate the installation.

The system is mounted on a modular steel support, protected against corrosion.

The exclusive covering confers to the system a uniform and attractive visual.

With this type of system the most notable difference from the previous one is simply aesthetics and consists in that the accumulator is located below the solar receiver or receivers which significantly reduces the visual impact of the equipment, above all when it is installed on a flat roof. In all other respects, the system is practically the same. This system is ideal for achieving an architectonic integration.
